Naturalistic Worldview in the Oriental Medicine

Abstract
Oriental Medicine projects the human being as a constellation of energy patterns in a continual state of flux. The continuity of bio-energy patterns implies not only the material hoilsm, but also the philosophical holism. Human body therfore is a ontological mirror of a entire nature.
All of the parts of the entire nature belong to one organistic whole and they all interact as participants in one spotaneosly self-generating life process. This is a holistic naturalism, which is important character of far eastern philosophy.
Ancient eastern philosophy was the source of respect for and veneration of the natural world. Especially eastern medical thought presentates the view of nature. We can understand the eastern view of nature through the lightening of traditional medicine.
